Hi there, I hope you all are doing well. 🙂 Today, I would like to share my new “find” – a hutch decorated for Fall!

Don’t you just love Fall? I do!
Who grew up in the 80’s? Me, me, me, me!! So I found this hutch at a used furniture store, and fell in love with it, it’s from the 1980’s. SOLD!  I have big plans to chalk paint it in a few months, but for now, I’m leaving it the way I found it.
I was going to leave it in the garage until I have time to paint it, but noooooooo, I had to bring it in and decorate it for fall.
I love the autumn leaves and the twinkle lights at night.
Do y’all remember Mr. Owl, those of you that have followed me awhile? I bring him out every year.
A peek of the hutch next to the dining room.
This will probably be white soon. I’m going to go for a farmhouse look, or coastal look….we shall see! 😉
I can store a lot of things in this hutch, so that is a huge score.

Fall Series # 5: Kitchen Mantle Decorated For Fall

Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today, I would like to share my kitchen dining room mantle decorated for fall.

Many of you don’t know this, but last year I changed my style in a few rooms. I went from Tuscan Style to Coastal. Now, I am heading in the direction of Country Farmhouse Style. I love to change things up around here!

We love on 10 acres, so it seems only fitting to go ~ country farmhouse style.

Last Spring, we did this batten and board wall.  I wanted to add a shelf that would mimic a mantle, where I can display things through there seasons. So, this is what we came up with.

My wall is blue with a wet chalk paint technique, which went with my coastal theme, but I think it works for now. I kind of like the blue with the orange, it pops!

Take a look at my video, if you’re so inclined – I will share how I came up with this look from start to finish.

Thanks for visiting me, I do appreciate it! XOXO, ~Liz
