Fall Series #9: Home Office Decorated For Fall

Hi Again!! Today, I would like to share our home office decorated for Fall.
I am really enjoying the Fall season, the warm earthy autumn colors, the smell of pumpkin spice candles burning, the sound of crunchy fall leaves beneath my feet, and a breezy-cool autumn evening. Is Fall you’re favorite season, too?
In the office, I added pops of fall color here and there, enough to make it feel cozy and festive.
Do any of you decorate the home office?
Below is a video of the office decorated…enjoy!
Thank you for stopping by to visit, it means a lot. XOXO

Fall Series #3: Simplistic Fall Display

Simplicity At It’s Best
Here is my VIDEO
Hi guys, today I would like to share another table display all ready for Fall.
There’s not much to the display, as I am keeping it basic and simple.
I LOVE AUTUMN
Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you soon! XOXO

Building A Fall Vignette + Video

Hi there! Today I will be sharing my latest fall vignette. As you come in the front door, we have a large Georgian Style staircase. Remember my farmhouse vignette post (below)? Well, I tried to mimic that look, but on the other side of my staircase.

(How To Build A Fall Vignette – You will see me start from scratch and build this pretty, festive Fall Display)
I T E MS * U S E D
Arched Iron Gate, Wreath, 2 Topiaries, 1 Candle Holder, Ribbon, Raffia, Beaded Lamp, Fall Floral Picks, Fall Garlands, Cloche filled with Fall colored beads, orange lights, and a porcelain chicken.
Decorating should be about having fun while you are being creative, and I had fun creating this vignette.
I found this chicken at Homegoods over the summer. I was trying to make my bird look like she was nesting .
My how I love adding these orange lights, it makes everything glow.
The picture below is what my vignette looks like without the glow of orange lights.
This shot was taken in the afternoon. I love this look….it has fall written all over it.
Thanks for visiting, hope y’all have a great weekend.
XOXO, ~Liz

DIY Farmhouse Box – Decorated For Fall (Video)

Hi there! Join me and I’ll show you my new ~ Rustic Farmhouse Box that my husband built for me. Come see how I made this box a beautiful focal point and centerpiece for a table in my hallway.
B E L O W   IS   MY    V I D E O
Sigh, I just love this time of year. I think I like fall decorating better than Christmas decorating.
Here you can see a glimpse of my farmhouse box. I intended to use it on my dining room table, but ended up going this route instead.
The candles you see here smell like pumpkin spice, the smell is divine. I love adding height to my decor, it makes the vignette more interesting to look at.
 Cozy, Cozy. Cozy.
The pumpkins and gourds I found at Walmart and added them into the mix.
So there’s my farmhouse box decorated for Fall.
Thanks for visiting.
XOXO, ~Liz

My Autumn Tree And Video

Hi Everyone, I hope you enjoyed the long extended weekend, we did. Join me today, and I will share my Autumn Tree that I decorated.
This is how my tree looked as I began to fill in with my floral picks.
I always have fun playing with different ways to add in the picks.
The colors just pop!
I love the way the light hits the top of my tree-topper in the morning.

So, this year, no deco mesh on my tree. Instead, I ran to the Dollar Tree and picked up tons of floral picks and ribbon, that’s it, super simple. Umm, and cheap to boot!

This is my black halloween tree I drag out every year. This tree was pre-lit with white lights, but I added two strands of orange lights to add that warm autumn glow at night. I began dressing the tree with the tree

topper and worked my way down the tree. You will see more detail in the video below.

I absolutely love this tree. It is void of any and all ornaments. So, when I say it’s simple, it is! All I did was use floral picks and ribbon.

The colors are a bit more muted that what I normally use, but I love it.

When I think of Autumn, I think of all of these wonderful colors throughout the tree.

It really glows and adds warmth – very, very cozy, indeed!

Kids love these trees, so if you have children and even if you don’t, you will really enjoy this type of tree all Autumn long.

Add some Fall ornaments, or create a “themed tree” for fall – pack the tree with pumpkins, owls, etc….and you can transition it into a Halloween Tree in October.

Below is a quick video snippet I took, I hope you like it.

Thanks for visiting, sweet friends.

xoxo, Liz

Decorate Your Candle Chandelier For Fall

Hi there! Join me and I’ll show you how I decorated my candle chandelier for Fall.
I found this candle chandelier at Ross for only $13.99. I knew just where I would put it, above my kitchen island.

I dressed the chandelier by looping two different garlands around the bottom of it, and then added candles….simple, simple, simple.

I love the ambiance, so warm and festive.

 See…it has that Autumn glow.

Below is a quick video snippet of my chandelier.

Thanks for visiting!

Fall Entertainment Center

Happy Friday, Friends! Today, I would like to share my Entertainment Center decorated for Fall.
On the top two shelves I have two large oversized plates in green and brown. I keep these plates out year long.
I placed a pumpkin on top of my book boxes.
On the lower two shelves, I placed two Autumn plates on either side, and accessorized with a Fall arrangement, a black bird, and a basket with a pumpkin sitting in it.
Here is the middle portion decorated. See my Owls up top? I placed the Owls in amongst greenery, fall leaves, pumpkins, and corn.
I had to Tuscan-ize this arrangement a bit, so I added my metal wall decor and hung a fall wreath from it. I sat my Tuscan canisters and two topiaries on either side.

I love this wreath.

In the below picture, I added a simple porcelain pumpkin.
On this shelf, I added the other matching Autumn plate and placed a pumpkin in a basket.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend! XO, ~Liz

No More “Cookie Cutter” Kitchen

Hi there, friends! Today, I would like like to share my new display cabinet in the kitchen. A cabinet to display things for every season!
I like to branch away from “cookie-cutter” kitchens. Why not personalize a kitchen to your style and decorating taste, right? So, that’s what I did!
I removed the cabinet doors and hardware,  removed the shelves, and then ran to Home Depot for some spray paint primer, and some paint.
I purchased these shelf brackets from Home Depot to add some extra support.
I decided to go with Black paint, I thought it would look good against the warm colored cabinets.
You can see the paint is drying in the photo above.
I couldn’t wait to start accessorizing for Fall.
I started with the top shelf and began to layer things. I started with some green floral pieces and then added a fall garland to that. I placed a pumpkin on a pedestal and then added pumpkins, fall corn, and a fall berry garland to finish the look.
I added an Autumn sign, and below that shelf, a Rooster Platter and some pumpkins propped up on candle holders. Lastly, I placed an acorn and one more pumpkin beside it, and whala, project complete!
I am proud to report that my house is all decorated for fall. The only thing left to do is my “Fall Tree” but I will hold off a few more weeks. The house looks so warm and cozy, I have so much to share, can’t wait!
Thanks for visiting! XOXO, ~Liz
