Merry Christmas

Hello, sweet friends! I had sinus surgery  and my girl’s are now in competition mode for competitive cheer, so we have been busy-busy-busy! I thought I would share a quick post, packed full of pictures. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

((Hugs)) and Love to you all, ~Liz

The Living Room Christmas Tree

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Today, I would like to share our living room tree decorated for Christmas.
Red and Green is the traditional theme running through the house this holiday season.
You may spot another tree in the distance. I decorated a tree in our dining room, too!

I placed a lit Christmas present on the top of the tree, this acts as my tree topper. The kids think it’s a bit whimsical and fun!

Last year, in addition to selling a bunch of my Christmas and every day decor (when we moved), we also donated a bunch of it to various charities. So, rather than running out and blowing a bunch of money on ornaments, I decided to fill in with Deco Mesh. All my trees are whimsical and funky for this very reason. 😉

Next year, I would like to go with a more traditional look. This year, I used what I had left in the garage. 😉

Here is a pano shot. I also have a tree in my foyer. My goal was to have three trees in the front windows, so that at night, the house exudes Christmas. I love this time of year!;)

The picture above it a sneak peek of the exterior.
So, did any of you get snow on Thanksgiving? We got snow two days later and boy did it put us in a Christmas mood!  On Sunday, we went to a Christmas tree farm (in the snow) and cut down a real Christmas tree.  The “real” Christmas Tree is up in our movie theater, so I hope to show that to you soon. No deco mesh in this tree, lol! 🙂
Thanks for visiting!
XOXO~Liz

Christmas Sneak Peek

Well, hello-hello! Anyone there? 😉 Sorry for being MIA, but I’ve been having fun decorating our home for Christmas.  Join me and I’ll show you what I’ve been working on.
So, I decided to go with a red and green theme throughout the house.
I found the Deer at Homegoods and decided to use them as a focal point on the dining room table.
I layered my items to make it interesting.  I used two table runners and began to place things to my liking.  I used the candle votives to hold an ornament on either side.
Mr. Santa stands between two trees and a large berry wreath hangs above on my iron gate.
I used gold, red, and green throughout the dining room.
I got creative in the kitchen. I took down my curtains and used a lit garland around my curtain rod, and then hung ornaments from ribbon and varied them at different heights.
This is a view from my front porch looking into the house.  This is the Living Room tree.
I have two upper windows in the Dining Room and I sat ornaments on candle votives. I love the sparkle in the window.
This is the family room tree during daylight hours, no lights were turned on. This is our funky, wild, crazy, and fun looking tree.
Below is another tree I am working on with bubble lights.
I’m introducing red into the kitchen for the holidays, too!
So now that everything is just about done, I can now kick my feet up and enjoy the sparkle, shimmer, and shine. I hope to be loading a bunch of pictures to share soon, so stay tuned! Thanks for visiting! XO, Liz
