Welcome To Our Front Porch

Happy Fall Y’all!  Today, I’m here to show our front porched decked for fall. This year, as you can see, there is no deco mesh in my garland. I decided to go without out it this fall and try something different.
I ran to Michael’s and grabbed (3) 6ft. christmas garlands. I, first, hung the green xmas garland around my door. I then added in my fall garland and tied them into the green garland using the branches. Super easy! I added some fall berry garlands and some burlap ribbon. Whala, complete!
I found this cute pumpkin wreath at Homegoods today and hung it with my burlap ribbon.
While at Michael’s…this Rooster and vase jumped out at me and were 50% off. I knew I would incorporate them into my porch display, somehow!
I founds this metal wall art at Ross and hung a fall wreath on it that I purchased from Rite Aid. 
(Have you see Rite Aids fall goodies? So cute!)
If you have some metal wall art, get a twisty tie and tie it onto the piece. You can do this throughout the seasons.

I am *so* enjoying all the fall colors in my displays, so warm and cozy!
I added some fall wheat to a planter and stuck greenery in around it.
I threw in some orange looking pillows, perfect for Fall! 
I picked up this sign from Homegoods and placed a faux pumpkin beside it.
The twig pumpkins you see on the table are from Rite Aid.  Drugstores often carry the cutest holiday decor.
I’m planning to add boo-blinker lights that are orange and amber colored throughout my garland.
 Last fall, I found this house and never dreamed that it was possible to purchase it, this year, I’m in awe that we ARE here, and feel extremely thankful.

I may even spot-light the front door for fun….

  11. Your front porch looks great! I wish that my steps were in front of the door like yours. I was wondering where you got the white bench. It looks like I have the same one. Mine has been in my family over 50 years and I just recently painted it white last year. You can see it here at http://southernseazons.blogspot.com/2014/04/new-and-improved-laundry-room.html. Mine used to be a honey oak color before I painted it. My mother kept all of our everyday shoes in it. Can't wait to see more of your decorating.

  13. Hello Liz!! I am in love with how you decorated your front porch!! I love what you purchased at Michael's! I saw that orange rooster there the other day and now I will be going back to get it ! It says fall to me! LOVE Everything!! Happy decorating and Happy Fall!!!

  14. I'm so glad to see your back!:) very warm and inviting entryway! This year I'm using a copper translucent fabric I found at Walmart for filler instead of deco mesh! It's good to change things up now and again! Blessings!

  18. Liz- Your porch looks great and all ready for Fall. I haven't done the first thing for Fall yet. Our summer was SO short and even though Fall is my favorite season of all- I am holding onto summer just a wee bit longer. You are blessed- I am so glad you got that house and that it makes such a perfect home for your family- ox Diana

  21. i love that boxwood on your porch and your great fall touches. i often shop at rite aid/cvs after the holidays/season when things are on major sale. i got some "christmas" mercury glass candlesticks that aren't christmas at all, and in fact have been used in my daily decor since i bought them. enjoy!b

  23. Hi Liz! Your front porch looks fabulous! I especially love the ribbon entwined in your garland. I bought some of that same ribbon myself and just love it. I really like the pumpkin wreath too. I have yet to begin any fall decorating. It's still in the high 80's and 90's here in SC so maybe you can understand my lack of enthusiasm. Your porch is very inspiring though, so maybe I will get to it soon here!

I so miss my old front porch but now that we have the patio, I am OK:):) Now, excuse me, I have to run to Rite Aid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XO
