  1. Oh my goodness, your bargains are wonderful!! I think we can decorate our homes any way we want if we, and are families are happy and comfortable. Farmhouse is not all chippy and used and old..it's shiny and new, all colors not just white, and encompasses all our idea's into our home's as "farm house". We can't wait to see what you create in your home…

  2. So when will we see what you do with all of these items?? What will you end up doing with your roomful of Tuscan Hobby Lobby items you have always decorated with? Anxious to see the makeover!

  3. Hi Sandy,Thank you. I completely agree with you. My version of Farmhouse will not be everything white….I'm not even sure where I will go with this, but time will tell. Biting my nails, I hope it turns out ok. ??Thanks for stopping by, sweet friend! xo ❤️

  4. Hi Patti! Happy Wednesday to you! Well, I have a video scheduled to go up tomorrow at 7:30am eastern time on my YouTube Channel. More videos to come…I guess my old items will go down to "my store" as I like to call it – in the basement, or I will donate what I will no longer use. Thanks for visiting! xo ♥️

  5. I have been following your decorating ideas for years!! I am excited to see what new ideas you will be sharing with us. I read somewhere that your home is a work of art in progress. So true!!Thank you for sharing,xo Kathy

  6. Hi Kathy,I love ❤️ that saying ….your home is a work in progrss. Thank you for following me over the years, it means a lot. Hope you’re doing well and thanks for visiting me. Hugs and love, Liz

  7. Been following you for several years now. I too am trying to make the transition from Tuscan to farmhouse but I have a 60's style ranch and have been having a difficulty time with it. I too do not like all white. We remodeled our kitchen 9 years ago with stained maple cabinets and granite countertops and there is no way I am painting those. But who says you have to have white cabinets to decorate farmhouse style! Can't wait to see what you do and for all your good inspiration and ideas.

  8. Hi Shannon,I'm glad to know I'm not the only one struggling to transition over to Farmhouse I wouldn't paint your cabinets, good decision! I did with chalk paint and I sort of regret doing it. I feel they are harder to keep clean and I find myself wiping them down weekly. Plus, that's right, you don't have to have white cabinets for it to be Farmhouse style. ? Thanks for visiting me and for the sweet comment! xoxo ❤️

  9. Did you get all of these fabulous finds in one day? It seems that when I go to my Home Goods I am lucky to find one or two items. They seem to have a lot of gold, silver and crystal items at my store right now. Nothing as cute as what you found. I can't wait to see how you use them.

  10. Wow, Liz, you found some great farmhouse pieces! I absolutely agree that everyone should decorate their homes to suit their own taste and do what makes you feel good in your home. I'm a bit reserved about the "farmhouse look," because I feel it's very trendy and might go away very soon….I hope not, but……? I find it very difficult to make a smooth transition to farmhouse when you live in a stucco and tile Southwest house. I do not like & never have liked the "Southwest look" with lizards & coyotes all over the place, but it's difficult to make everything work well together. We did paint our ugly orange oak cabinets (throughout the house) a very soft, warm gray that looks amazing with our tile floors and granite counters…white would not have looked good at all. So, I say, "keep up the good work and the great videos, Liz!" You are inspiring!Warm hugs,Carol

  11. I have followed you for a long time and was so glad when you came back to blogland after being gone for a while. I think I have done them all stylewise over the years. I had a very causal decor when we first got married and moved to a more traditional deco. When we lived in FL I went to a coastal decor -back then the peach and green movement was big–lol…Then moved back to the midwest and went to 'country blue and mauve and then blue and white–sheep, geese and bobbins….got tired of that and went to a very formal decor when we moved into a historic home-then moved to Lake Michigan and went very nautical–moved again and went all shabby chic-which evolved to a more romantic style..lol….and now I am in a home on the bay and am more traditional with coastal overtones. lol It has been fun to evolve over the years. BUT–I have never had Tuscan…lolIt will be fun to follow you on your transition to farmhouse style. I think we should do what we love and you can bend any rules to make a 'formal' house a 'farmhouse' by using accent pieces–it is more about a 'feel' than a set of cabinets, I think. Can't wait to see more!!!! xo Diana

  12. Hi Carol, I am so with you on the "southwest" style. When we lived in AZ~ I didn't care for it either. You have done a fabulous job with you house and you are very inspiring. I always love the vignettes you create. :)Thx for stopping by! xoxo

  13. Hi Judy,Yes, I found everything in one day. (Not the norm, trust me) Actually, all the ladies that work there were busily putting out a bunch of new merchandise. Some of the things I got, I grabbed right from their big roller racks, ha! 😉 I snatched them as quickly as I could. LOL! Thanks for visiting! xoxo, Liz
