Fall Series # 5: Kitchen Mantle Decorated For Fall

Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today, I would like to share my kitchen dining room mantle decorated for fall.

Many of you don’t know this, but last year I changed my style in a few rooms. I went from Tuscan Style to Coastal. Now, I am heading in the direction of Country Farmhouse Style. I love to change things up around here!

We love on 10 acres, so it seems only fitting to go ~ country farmhouse style.

Last Spring, we did this batten and board wall.  I wanted to add a shelf that would mimic a mantle, where I can display things through there seasons. So, this is what we came up with.

My wall is blue with a wet chalk paint technique, which went with my coastal theme, but I think it works for now. I kind of like the blue with the orange, it pops!

Take a look at my video, if you’re so inclined – I will share how I came up with this look from start to finish.

Thanks for visiting me, I do appreciate it! XOXO, ~Liz

  1. Love the accent wall Liz and what a good idea to add the mantel -perfect for decorating! What I love most about you Liz is how you are not afraid of changing things up. It certainly makes it interesting and not boring.Have a great dayJeannette

  2. Your home always looks so amazing, Liz, and I just love seeing what you come up with. You got me all revved up for Fall decorating with your first Fall post a few weeks ago, & I am now ready to start sharing a bit here and there…probably this week. Even though we are still in triple digits here, it is all Fall & pumpkins inside our home! I know I've said it before, but I am sooo…happy you are back!Warm hugs,Carol

  3. I love the board and batten…and having a deep enough shelf for display is so smart! And your Autumn decor…it does just pop! Love it…
