Happy Halloween, Friends!

Happy Friday! Can you believe today is Halloween, where has the time gone? Today, I’m going to share our Living Room mantle.
I love adding greenery, fall leaves, and orange colored lights to the mix….it glows at night!
I’m going to miss the fall colors they are so warm and cozy.
If you’ve been following my blog for some time now, you know that November 1st marks the day to take my Autumn stuff down and Christmas begins to go up.
I still can’t believe it’s Halloween, it seems like September rolled around, I blinked and now it’s Halloween. πŸ™‚
We went to a Halloween party and they had a tray full of lips & teeth, made with sliced apples, peanut butter, caramel, marshmallows, raisins, or chocolate chips. This would be a fun thing to make with the kids! πŸ˜‰
The Wizard Of Oz Witch greeted us as we walked into the house.
I love seeing how other people decorate their homes for the holidays, I get so many ideas.
We are ready for Trick-Or-Treaters, how about you?
I still have more Fall decor to share, so I may continue to post on that through November, along with my Christmas decor. I’ll mix it up, ha! Enjoy the day, and Happy Halloween! XO, Liz

  1. Liz, I can't believe it is the end of October either. Your mantle is just wonderful—as gorgeous as everything else you do. No trick-or-treaters here. We live too far out…well, except for one little grandson..and that made the end of a perfect Halloween for us. xo Diana

  2. BOO! Scared you, didn't I? :DLove your front porch. So inviting. We are ready for Halloween. We are on a hill in the woods and we've never had a trick or treater in all the 15-years we've lived here. Too spooky up here I think. πŸ˜‰ Our grands live in Atlanta and we will miss their little outings. Hope your Halloween is filled with fun. I bet your girls are ready to do the Monster Mash. πŸ˜€

  3. Always a welcome "treat" to come to your beautiful home. I love all the fall decorations in your home. I always feel like when the kids go back to school I blink my eyes and it's Halloween! Time really does fly by so fast. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Halloween!

  4. Hey Liz! Happy Halloween! I am going to miss the fall colors too ! They are my favorite colors! Your mantel looks so pretty and warm!! Enjoy your Halloween with your girls!! Your porch looks so cozy at night!

  5. Your mantel looks so warm and autumn-y, Liz! Today, I will just pull out the Halloween stuff I have out. Thankfully, it's not too much. I'll put that away and leave the rest of my Fall stuff out until the day after Thanksgiving. I am dreading dragging our big tree down from the attic for Christmas. I may have to try convincing my hubby to get a smaller one (especially since I do it all on my own!). The only good thing is that I could just do the tree and our condo would look all ready for Christmas! : )

  6. You always do the best mantels, Liz! I really like how you always mix in a bit of greenery, because that really does make the beautiful Fall colors pop. That looked like a fun party you went to, and such a fun idea for snack that kids would definitely love making. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Halloween. It was about 80 degrees here last night, so perfect weather for the kiddos. Everybody in our neighborhood just sit outside and pass out candy…..and run back and forth to each other's home to chat. Such a fun evening!I'm putting just the Halloween things away today and bringing out a few Thanksgiving items. The rest of the Fall decor will be hanging around until after Thanksgiving, because we have some very dear friends who are renting a house in our neighborhood for the month of November and will be with us for Thanksgiving. I truly think I could leave my Fall decor up all year and never get tired of it. Have fun with your Christmas decorating!

  7. I love the fall and it's beautiful splendor but I, like you, start decorating for Christmas after Halloween. A local country shop has their Christmas Open House and that's how my weekend usually starts. I get inspired from them (there's alot of creativity with these gals) and the mess begins!! I'm a floral designer at Michael's and we are always working on a season ahead. Besides, I love seeing my decorations up longer than the month of December. By the beginning of December, I focus on my shopping and baking.
